The resort has a main pool with a swim-up bar overlooking the ocean with servers constantly rounding to ensure hands don’t go empty. It’s about 4.5′ deep and while cool in the morning, it didn’t keep people out.
There is a separate pool nearby that’s slightly more shallow where they also have yoga on platforms, trampoline workouts and other events throughout the day. The servers aren’t as frequent, but it’s 10 steps from a bar and 20 steps from Barefoot Grill for plenty of lunch options.
Lastly are two smaller pools – one shallow pool with several concrete loungers for sunbathing and a ‘hot tub’ with jets that stays heated (we found it around 80 degrees, warm and enjoyable rather than hot). There is no separate preferred pool on this property.
Our swim out room was a shared pool connected to 6 rooms. It was cold the first two days and mostly shaded from the sun by the palms, but on day 3 we realized they turned on the heater. It was a pleasant 78-80 degrees first thing in the morning and we could feel the heated water coming through the jets.
